I’m getting the Verizon ones on my iPhone. Before the upgrade I was getting the “you won” pop ups

Same! Before the upgrade I was getting tons of you have won ads, both in the same window and new windows. Since the upgrade I had been fine, and just tonight I have been getting so many Verizon pop ups in the same window that I can barely read the boards! I’m on an iphone in safari. I’m getting fed up, I can’t always use my computer. If it continues I might have to back away from the boards after our upcoming trip.

I only get them on this site, and I use my phone a lot to look things up, search, etc. I just don’t get it, no other sites have this problem. I’ve been told to get a pop up blocker, and I may have to figure that out sometime, but I don’t see why I should have to do that when it’s only one site with the problem. I signed up fo the boards over on Len Testa’s site (blanking on the name right now) but don’t have time for both sites. I may have to explore them more.

I have noticed I am only getting it on this site too but I am on this site most of the time I am online on my phone. I love this site but hate the pop up it make using this site very hard

I have been getting both the "you won" pop-ups and the "Comcast" ones. I am tired of checking DIS to see if it's been fixed, getting the pop-ups, and then having to go into settings and clear my history. This is on a new iPhone X Max.

If you can't fix it...maybe a reply on one of these threads says you're aware of it and working on it.

I'm getting the You Won pop ups too. I look at Dis exclusively on my iPad, and so because of these pop ups, I haven't been able to come here or post here in a while.

I too am tired of having to clear my history and reset all of my passwords every time I get a pop up on this site. Surely there's got to be a fix for this!

I just wanted to add that I also get them when I click on the links from the daily email blast. So it is only dis pages, but not only the boards. I had a hard time reading the highlighted articles today because the Verizon ad kept popping up!

In a ridiculous new twist the pop ups are now very graphic porn! This is absurd, what if someone had been looking at my phone! It happened repeatedly, I had a hard time getting on to even post this! I can’t continue on this site if that is going to happen, I have 4 kids - plus, just, no!

The ads are aggravating but the porn has crossed the line for me ....

It does not matter which thread I open, porn site with very graphic pictures, comes up quickly

I’m really aggravated with constant pop up ads. They have got to fix this and soon. It does not matter what I click on...you’ve won ads over and over. This site has major issues that needs to be resolved.

Yes, happened a lot to me yesterday. I found the closing my browser completely (all windows) and then reopened seemed to correct it. At least for now.

This has been an ongoing issue. It supposedly is a rogue google ad and has been reported to google ads so not much to be done really on the DIS end.

In the mean time I have an adblocker installed in order to use the DIS on my devices.

Sounds like its past time to shut down Google ads until it gets cleaned up. Things like this can kill the user base. Does not reflect well on the site. The money from Google isn't worth losing your followers. Just my 2 cents as it doesn't effect me.

I have been getting them for several months now. On my Samsung phone and it claims I won a phone through Bell (Canada). I have to close everything down to get rid of it. And just the last 2 weeks, it is on my laptop too. I don't get these on any other website but the DIS.
