We will be staying at Pop Century at the same time the Tampa Bay Bucs are having training camp over at Wide World of Sports. I know I have to go see them at least once during our stay. How hard is it to get from PC to WWoS? I will not have a car, so that's not an option.
Thanks!!!

only 15 more days till we leave!

Using Disney transportation you would have to take a bus to MGM. Then a bus to WWOS. As far as I know this is the only way. My DH did this last year.

Sue1013 has it right, that's the ONLY way via Disney Transport. A cab would be a lot quicker. The driving time won't be very long, because they're all in the same neighborhood, but you're talking about waiting for 2 buses in each direction.

Also it's not a real good sign to find the Bus at MGM we used it alot when playing Paintball at WWoS .

Instead of going towards the park you go right back out towards the MAIN parking area and the sign and stop are right there.

Or just ask and they will point you in the right direction. 20 to 30 min. between buses in OCt /Apr. the two dates we were there.

Thanks guys! I'm sure being able to see training camp will be worth whatever transportation inconveninces there are. When you live in Pennsylvania the chances to see your beloved Bucs are few and far between. And they play Philly, DC and Baltimore all in Tampa this year, so this is really my only shot.

Thanks again!!!

We happened upon the bus stop at the Studios for WWOS last year. We exited the Studios and began our walk back to the Boardwalk. There are benches around the lake and I saw a sign indicating that was the bus stop for WWOS. In the many, many times I have taken that walk I never noticed this before. Just a note to the original poster.....I understand the last bus is around 8pm regardless of what is taking place at WWOS. I would imagine you would go during the day but just thought I should warn you about the 8pm business.

We went to WWoS for the training camp last year (on our honeymoon no less!) b/c DH is a huge Bucs fan. I would have to say that waiting for the bus at WWoS to get back to MGM was the longest we waited for a bus our whole trip. Even though we'll be there again during camp we're not going back (although DH may go by himself).

Also as a side note, although the seating is in a shaded area, it is REALLY hot. It was kind of like sitting in a corrugated tin box. But the merchandise selection was pretty good.

The Bus stop at Disney/Mgm Studios for Wide World of Sports is in the Charter Bus Parking Lot. To find it look for a A-Frame sign that will have the Wide World of Sports on it.

Taking the Bus to Wide World Of Sports is a lot better then taking your car if you will be using one while at WDW. The last 2 years I have been at WDW in August when the Bucs had training camp at Wide World Of Sports, there was a sign along the roads that said parking lot full for Wide World Of Sports, because obviously to many people went to see the Bucs practice.

There are also youth sports tournaments for AAU basketball and USSSA baseball and softball at the same time as the Bucs training camp that may also fill up the parking lot.
