Pop room safes

I haven't seen this one posted in the past (nor could I locate information on it via the search) so I thought I'd ask. Are the Pop room safes large enough to hold a laptop? I'm planning on bringing mine to download pictures onto and possibly write down some notes about our day and meals.

From the pictures I've seen of the actual safes, I'm not so sure they'll be able to hold it but it's also hard to get a true estimate of depth. Anyone happen to have any experience with this one?

(FYI, my laptop is a Dell with a 14.1 screen.)

My Dad was able to put his in the safe at Pop, I am not sure how big his laptop is, but it fit! He stood it on its side.

DH put his laptop in the safe last month. He had to set it up on its side, but it's the only safe he's been able to fit it into out of all the WDW resorts we've stayed at.

The safe's at POP must be much bigger than the ones at All-Star Sports. There was absolutely no way we would be able to fit ours in the safe at Sports. It wasn't very deep at all. Our laptop is a new laptop which is pretty standard in size.

One last question on this particular topic. Are there any areas in WDW where wifi is free? I don't want 24 hours of Internet but I would like to check my work email about midway through to head off any issues that arise.

From what I've gathered thus far, I should just take my dial up access number as well as a cord. However, if I can get free wifi somewhere I'd rather do that.

Anyone happen to know this one?

The safe's at POP must be much bigger than the ones at All-Star Sports. There was absolutely no way we would be able to fit ours in the safe at Sports. It wasn't very deep at all. Our laptop is a new laptop which is pretty standard in size.

I believe they are bigger. We were able to easily fit our laptop in the safe at Pop, but not at CBR. I think the CBR safe was the same size as the one at ASMo, but we didn't have a laptop at ASMo, so I can't say for sure.
