Leaving Thursday for POP for 8 nights, staying in a preferred room as it was the only one av available. As I understand it, the 60's building is the preferred at POP. Is there any area I should specifically request. I don't think I want to be on the ground floor because it could get quite loud. Other than that, I'm open for request suggestions? THe Lake? The Pool? I'm a PoP Rookie, help me out.

3 days and counting...

We jsut came back from Pop and had 50's bldg 3...it was very close to all the60's bldgs, but I do not know any of the bldg numbers....I can tell you that they only honored our room request for non-smoking...no bldg nor no year..close to the pool can be loud only if you are on 1st floor...I do not think you will have a problem higher up.....pools were very crowded after park hours, but it seemed they got less crowded around 11:30 pm..not too much noise

Aftere checking my trusty Pop map, I find that blgs 4 and 5 are the two 60's bldgs. I would request a room away from the pool and on an upper floor. That pool got awfully noisy at night. Lots of people having lots of fun. We were in 50's way in the back, on the third level. It was incredibly quiet. Maybe you could go so far as to request a room facing the 70's bldgs or the 50's bldgs. THat would put you away from the pool area but with a nice view of the other era's. And a bit closer to the Classic Hall. Of course, the ends of the 60's bldgs were nice to...you have a nice view of the lake. Very peaceful and pretty. Well, I don't think I really helped, did I??!!
