Pop rehabbed rooms

I am hoping someone has stayed in a rehabbed room and can say if 2 scooters can fit with the new queen size rooms. Has anyone stayed there yet?

Will you need the Murphy bed down? If not, there should be plenty of space. If you will need to use the Murphy bed, this is a good question since there is no longer the option to remove the table and chairs for extra space. The refurbed rooms are only in a couple of buildings at this point so you could still request an "old" room. Hopefully someone can report back, though I believe the refurbed rooms have only been in use about a week.

There is a thread on the Resorts Forum with great discussion about how much floor space is available (much centered around "is there space for an air mattress") and as of yet I haven't seen any measurements of open space(s). It is reported that both the real bed and the murphy are queen size, though I don't know if that's been verified, and the square footage of the room has not changed.

Check the pictures in that thread and some of the links. The chairs can be stacked (seat-to-seat with legs in the air) and placed into the closet area, so that would open the space between the dresser and refrigerator cabinet. I think an ECV will fit in that space, though the murphy bed would need to be closed to get into/out of that spot. The other could stay by the door in front of the window. It wouldn't leave a lot of floor space but could be do-able.

When is your trip? If it's coming up this summer or fall, I'd put in a request for an old room. It is only a request but with relatively few refurbed rooms available yet you would have good odds of getting an older room. If your trip is scheduled for winter or next spring, there should be definitive reports long before then and you may decide to change resorts.
