Pop Question

We are going for Christmas for the first time (we have gone many times in late Oct.) We are staying at Pop Century Dec. 8-11 and just found out that this is "Pop Werner Week." Please let me know what that is and what that means ... I called Disney Resevations and they said I had nothing to worry about and will not be aware of anything going on ... no problems ?????
Is this true or should I switch resorts ... though it does not seam like anything is really availible for those dates on the Disney web page for the other resorts.

Pop Warner week is when the Pop Warner football players, cheerleaders come down to WDW for competitions. They are kids from elementary school age to teens. We stayed at AllStarMusic the same time they were there in '03. I had no problems whatsoever with the kids. They didn't impact the parks very much at all since they were busy during the week. One night, I think it was a Sat., they closed MGM early so the kids could have a private night. But it only shortened the day by about 2 hours,nothing horrendous.
The food court got a bit busy at the expected times. If you can eat either very early or late, missing the more popular times, you should be fine.
I wouldn't try to change resorts at this time. If they have to they will put the overflow over at POR, so even the moderates could have the kids. Don't worry about it....it will be fine!!!

I thought I read the all stars resorts were built and designed to hold the large groups not Pop. So basically saying they will be concentrated at allstars. Go and enjoy.
