POP Question........

Did any of you think POP was corny, or did it just have it's own little charm???

Im guessing you mean the Pop Century Resort? Sorry if its not. But I wouldnt say it was corny. It has it's own agenda. It;s like any other resort. All star sports has sporty things, All star movies has movie things,and Pop Century and its yearly things. I stayed there and I thought it was really good. The layout and style was amazing. And I enjoyed every minute of it.

I haven't stayed there yet...I will be in June. But we looked at it on our last trip and I like what I saw. It's just like the All Stars, it has its own thing going on with the oversized items. I like the different years going on and I can't wait to stay there.

I loved it. It has it's own charm. My mom wasn't overly fond of it but I think it's a good place to stay. The food court area is kind of noisy but still a nice place to eat. That's just my opinion though.

I haven't stayed there but the Magic Express dropped off there when we were going to AKL, and personally I think it looked incredibly tacky.

i love pop. heck, i just love all of the all stars (...except sports xD). its one of my favorite, and isnt corny at all. everything at disney has its own charm, you just need to know where to look for it.

i love POP i was ill when i went but my family told me its the best value resort there(though i love ASMo).
from what i've seen its colorful and fun. it yes does have its own little charm. values are values some may think them corny and tacky i reckon they have the best disney atmosphere out of all of them.

I liked Pop,but I feel Movies is the best All Star.The Pop has it's own vibe, no corn growing in or around it!lol

I've only stayed at Pop so I can't compare it to the All-Stars. But I really liked it. We ended up there last minute(we didnt want to stay in Tampa any longer) because it was the cheapest. But yah I would totally recommend it. The rooms are a bit small but its not like you spend a lot of time in the room anyways. Oh and the food court and gift shop were very nice.

That's where we stayed 2 years ago. I really liked it (much better than Shades of Green which, by the way, has no cell phone reception in the rooms). My mom and I agreed that some of the best counter service food was at the POP food court. I don't remember what I got, but I know I wanted more.
I liked how it was kind of corny looking. It was fun. It made me feel like a little kid again (in the happy way), which is always a nice feeling.
