POP or CSR for Adult only trip

My husband and I will be taking an adults only trip in May (8th-13th) to see flower and garden. This is our first kid free trip in YEARS!

I am trying to decide between POP and CSR. The difference in cost is about $250 for the 5 nights so that is not really a factor.

Both resorts have construction going on so I am curious which resort would you choose and why?

If cost isnt a factor, for adults, i'd probably go with CSR. Queen beds, beautiful landscaping, totally different feel than a value resort. The hot tub is great after a long day (which pop does not have). I personally love both, and I normally stay at a value because its usually just myself and im looking to save money. In your case, if cost isnt an issue i'd go with CSR. I should mention that they have the BEST bus service i've ever experienced. Never had to wait longer than 5 min, and never had to stand either. Not even after wishes at MK!

CSR. I've stayed at both and while my children like the theme of Disney everywhere at Pop and the food court was great, I liked the laid back atmosphere of CSR and would go back in a heartbeat without my kids! LOL

CSR has room refurbs & a 15 storey tower block getting constructed, Pop has just room refurbs.

CSR has more adult appeal, but it depends on how much you think construction might bother you.

Thanks for all the replies. Sounds like CSR is the better choice for adults only.

How much construction is going on at CSR? We will have a standard room. Does that mean we will be near the construction? We do want to sleep in in the mornings. Is there a best area to request at CSR to be away from the construction so we can sleep in? I am going to have to do some research on CSR I guess!!

Without construction going on, I would say CSR--no contest! I LOVE CSR, it's one of my favorite resorts. We went with two of our kids who were 9 and 11 at the time, but I also think the resort could be very "grown up" and romantic.

Construction really makes me hesitate though. I would still say CSR, but just keep an eye on construction updates.
