I just booked POP for the week of December 6. I never stayed on Disney property (although we've been to Disney several times) and I want to make sure that I am making the right choice. Honestly, I am not concerned about the price difference - I want to know which hotel my 4 yr old son will enjoy better during our down time. By looking at the web site Caribean beach looks great, but Pop looks like more fun. I know I would like the extra "perks" (coffee maker, more dining options) at the moderate hotel but will my son like POP better?

Any advise greatly appreciated

I have never stayed at POP but I have stayed at CBR and I definately think your 4 year old will enjoy POP more.
I stayed at The All Stars my last 4 visists and the preschoolers just love those giant Icons almost as much as Fantasyland.
So my vote is for POP.
Have fun at Disney!

CBR does have the beaches to play on along with several playgrounds. He might like riding in the boats on the lake.

I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

Def. POP! My aunt, uncle, and 6 year old cousin stayed there. All he talked about was the big lady and the tramp things and everything else. But I remember when I was 9 and stayed at CBR. It didn't appeal to me at all, NOW it does, but then I would of probably liked something like POP.

I think that is the week of the Pop Warner football tournament so expect a lot of noise at the values!

Another vote for Pop. We stayed there twice and my 10 year old daughter really loves this place. The game room is great for kids and the food court and gift shop are very kid friendly.

He will definitely be looking up at those HUGE Icons.

I stayed at CBR also. I loved CBR, but for a 4 year old Pop is more colorful. For an adult, CBR would probably be the better choice.

We stayed at POP in April 2005 with our then 4 1/2 yr old DS. He loved it but he loved being at Disney. So I would pick the resort you would like the best because 4 yr olds are just happy to be there anyways. Our next trip(2007) or sooner we are planning on CBR. My DS is interested in going to the Disney's beach. But he now also understands WDW has different resorts. He saw photos of WL too. So one day we want to try to save money to visit WL.

Have a Great Vacation :wizard: It was so much fun with a 4 yr old ::MickeyMo
