Pop or ASMo

I'm booking for next year and can't decide between Pop & ASMo. 1 kids loves Disney Movies to an extreme the others might like the Pop icons. We'd love the Poly but we need 3 rooms so not an option for us. I should add that we have a car so the bus isn't an issue. Thanks for the info so far.

You know there are some Disney movie icons at POP. Lady, Tramp, Roger Rabbit, Mogli, Baloo. I really never wanted to stay there because I wanted it very Disney and less decade..........but once I stayed there, I really liked it. Much better than Allstars.

We stayed at Pop last December and loved it. The staff, the decor, the food court, the gift shop, the bus service, all of it was great! I would stay again for sure! I liked how they did not share buses with other resorts. Pop would get my vote!

I think it's really a matter of personal preference and which theme you like better. I've stayed at all the Value Resorts and I prefer Movies. I think it has the best theming, best food court, best pool and best pool bar of all the Value Resorts. This is always debated, but I've also found the bus service to be much better at Movies than Pop. Pop has just as many buses, but they were always more crowded.

I must admit... if I am going value resort, then I choose Pop! I think the AS resorts are in need of renovating! I have had much better luck with service and the bus system at POP. Everyones experience is different but the past several times I went I chose to go value and went with POP. We had a great time, and great service from housekeeping to the food court to the buses! It is a newer resort as well and it still feels new, at least to me. I am sure you will have a blast no matter where you go!

I heard so much about how great Pop Century was that we decided to try both! Going Dec 18th- Jan1st at Movies. Then Pop fron Jan 1st -Jan 5th.
If we stay onsite again, we'll know from personal experience which resort we liked best and stay there!

We have stayed at ASMo twice - in Feb 2006 and March 2007. It was a very good experience - never had any issues with the buses and the food was great! However, we are going again in April 2008 and would like to stay somewhere different (yet affordable) and have been debating also about staying at POP. The decor looks neat! I would also like to know what the preferences would be!?

At the POP, you might like the 60s. They are close to the kids pool and to Classic Hall.

I have stayed at both and enjoyed them both. I know most like POP, but I think I would try ASMO again. It is a little smaller and my kids really enjoyed the icons there. The food court was good. I also believe that the rooms have been renovated there. I was there in 2006 in the Toy Story section and our room was very nice. Also, we never ran into any bus issues. We always had a dedicated buses in the AM & PM. I think we shared once on a midday return to the resort. Both are nice...have a great time at WDW!!!

I liked Pop so much better than ASM. I felt it was much cleaner and not as crowded.

I voted for Pop! Of the 3 resorts I have stayed at, Pop is my favorite.

I chose movies. Have stayed at both and am giong back to Pop in December, but I just loved the theming at movies. I'm a big toy story fan and we stayed in the TS buildings and it was great. IMO only advantage Pop has over the other values is not sharing busses, but since u r driving that's not an issue.

Didn't they just finish renovating ASMusic? I saw some pictures that really looked nice in comparison to the ones that I've seen of Pop or the other All Stars. Having not seen any of them IRL recently, I'd choose Music from the photos I've seen...
