We're currently booked for a week in March at Pop but I'm seeing similar prices for our dates at AofA in a Little Mermaid room. We've stayed at Pop NUMEROUS times and never stayed at AofA which is why I'm considering it. Anyone have any advice as to whether or not we should give Art a try? We like Pop bc its cheap and we spend most of our time in the parks. Our group is me and 2 kids (ages 14 and 12). Lots of Disney trips under our belts so we've got a good park plan lined up. A tad concerned about getting to HS in time to get a RotR boarding group with the new bus reductions but both POP and ART are Skyliner resorts so it will be the same problem at either.

Just thinking, if the price is the same, do try something new? Other POP loyalists....would you try it?

The little mermaid rooms are the furthest from the main building and the transportation options. Also, they have not had the same remodel that POP has had. So the Pop rooms are now roomier due to one of the beds being a Murphy bed that you can put up during the day to give yourself more space in the room. That being said, I think I AoA has a better food court. Of course, you can easily walk to the food court from Pop.

I'm not sure if bed size matters to you. AofA mermaid rooms have 2 double (full) size beds. Pop has 1 queen bed and 1 queen pull down bed.

Does anyone know if AOA suites have three full sized beds for 3 adults to stay in? Thanks

I believe the bedroom has one queen, there is a pull out sofa that is a double, and the murphy table bed I believe is also a double. The pull out couch is not very comfortable. If 3 adults are staying for more than a few nights (and each need his/her own bed) I would recommend getting 2 rooms, and requesting connecting.

I would stick with Pop. Also, the bus reduction is not in the morning pre-RD hours. The Skyliner has not been running early morning consistently, so the buses will be there as normal.
