Pop or AoA

POP.
I do not need a family suite and cannot justify the cost for a family suite at AOA and the LM rooms are a long walk to the front of the resort the way the paths are set up.
I like POP's theme and music and the standard rooms tend to be quiet and not difficult to walk to the front because there are multiple paths to take.
Plus POP's rooms are updated.

AofA refurbishments are much more recent. LM rooms are all recently refurbished and the Suites were refurbished about a year ago.
Pop's rooms were refurbished 3 to 4 years ago.

The AOA suites and LM rooms really only got a refresh not full refurb.

Yes. New beds, flooring, paint and tv's. A couple of years newer then Pop's.
The most important parts of a refurb to many.

I believe the pull outs in the living area are not new and that would be a very important part in my decision especially if staying in a suite.
At least at ASMu suites they changed that out so I'd stay there before AOA suites.

Although I have never stayed at AoA, I have walked over many times while staying at Pop. Given the price difference, I would certainly choose Pop.
One can always walk over to AoA to explore its themes and avail of its amenities, though in my most recent experiences I have noticed some of those extra amenities had disappeared. For example, AoA's food court used to have a slightly elevated level of offerings (choose your own omelets ingredients vs prepared omelets at Pop).

Stayed in a Cars family suite two years back, two adults and one child. Cars theming is tremendous but the room itself feels like a Motel 6, and grossly overpriced imho. The Internet barely worked all over the resort and although the pool is cool, there were towels plopped down almost everywhere at the pools by like 11 AM and thus limited availability. Also, we unfortunately got stuck on the last bus out of MK to AOA and after about a 45 minute wait, it was SRO.

on the plus side, a great game room And the Cozy Cone Pool was less populated, and also my stay was pre Skyliner so there’s that too. And the food stations were decent. Overall, a better place to visit than stay, imho.
