POP! Luggage Assistance Question

Hello Everyone!

I have stayed at Pop! 5 times now and this will be my 6th. However I am curious about a problem I have never had before as I usually use the ME for luggage assistance. I will be going for the weekend to Pop! Starting May 4th to May 7th. I will be arriving at POP by 1pm and plan to drop off my luggage (large carryon) and then go to MK until close. As I will not be getting back until about 11pm, I was wondering if the luggage will be brought to my room once my room is ready. I just dont want the luggage service to be closed and not be able to access my luggage.

TL;DR: If I drop my luggage off at 1pm at the luggage service, will my luggage be in my room when I get back from MK at 11pm, OR will the luggage service still be open at that time to retrieve said luggage?

It will not be delivered to your room without you physically in it. You will be able to retrieve it yourself from Luggage Assistance when you get back from MK.

Do you know if luggage assistance is 24 hours? I dont mind picking it up. I just dont want to be stranded without any luggage.

Yes. Unless something has changed very recently. But you can always ask when you drop your bag off.

I suggest stopping at Luggage Services when you return to POP late at night, to retrieve you bag yourself. My understanding is they have a skeleton staff for the overnight hours (not sure when that starts) and it could take a while for delivery to your room. We once waited over an hour for something, and DH ended up going to pick it up himself at 11:30pm.

They absolutely will not close and hold your luggage hostage. Like others said just pick it up on way back to your room.

The value resorts have a different luggage system than the other resorts. Even the luggage arriving via DME service takes awhile to get to the rooms! They tend to do a run every so often, not as the bags come in. And only bags arriving via the DME truck are delivered right to rooms. If you bring a bag to Luggage Assistance, you will either need to pick it up yourself, or call to have it delivered to the room and be in the room to receive it.
I would ask, when dropping the bag off, if there will be any issue picking it up after 11pm. There shouldn't be but you never know.
