Pop less than All Stars? Why?

I just priced up, again, our trip this coming Nov. 30-Dec. 15th on Disney UK and saw that while we want the Pop and it is available, I believe Music and the All Stars are more than 100 pound more expensive. I didn't notice this before, does anyone know why this is? I mean I guess it's supply and demand but I thought that they had per night prices and that all the values where the same. This is going to push me to book and I was thinking of waiting another week or two, even though I am 99 % sure I won't get a better deal elsewhere.
Just curious (and a little afraid :scared: ).
thanks :) !

Have you checked the room type as it may be that only preferred rooms are available at All stars.

hi dont worry , :)

i wondered this when we booked up last year and was informed from DW and from a few good people on here that All Stars comes under a different area in Orlando and the tax or something like that made the all stars more expensive that POP..... :thumbsup2

WDW straddles two counties, Orange County and Osceola County. Most WDW resorts are in Orange County, All Stars is in Osceola County and they have a different room tax rate, that will add some cost to the stay. I don't know that it would add 100 pounds to the cost, though.

The tax difference wouldn't be as much as £100. The different tax rate is a very small precentage and wouldn't make that much of a difference to the total cost.

Ah, phew! I didn't realise they were in a different tax bracket, and also maybe the family suites are driving up the prices. I'll have to check again but I do think it was just over 100 pounds. Could have been me just getting overly excited, watch it be a pound or something. Thanks for the quick replies :thumbsup2 . Would probably be easier if I just booked already but it's a bit of a sport watching things as they develop everyday!

I just checked and Music is the same price as Pop, Sports is a £100 more as there is only preferred rooms left and Movies always cost more than any of the values as they charge a supplement to stay there.

Sounds like booking time to me!
