King rooms are a bookable category, but you must book a King room with a roll in shower - when you search select handicapped room. Please do this only if you need that (like my DD does, as she cannot stand in the shower). They are very limited. And, understand if you get one, be aware that the shower will get the whole bathroom quite wet! We are careful to mop it up very well with extra towels! It's quite different, and if you don't care for this type you may not like it (we don't mind!). There are so few of these, and some of us need this room type.
If you put it in as a request, it is only a request, as those of us who book this room type get priority, so odds are slim you will get it (and you won't get a tub; your room will be smaller).
