DH and I are already starting to pick out where we'd like to go for our next trip in 2008. We are looking at mods and values.
We've done CBR twice and LOVE it but I want to try something new...
So is POP good for adults only? I've heard some people say yes and some say no but I'd like to hear more opinions on it. We like the theming we've seen it pictures but aren't sure after all we've looked at if it is good for a couple with no children. Just for reference we are both in our mid 20s.

I think it really depends on what you're into. I think Pop would be great for adults who like nostalgic kitschy type of stuff but if that isn't your thing you might find it tacky and not sophisticated enough.

Another thing is that DH and I enjoy upscale dining when we don't have the little one. If we were going without him I would probably rather stay at a resort with some nice dining options or at least some closer than Pop is to anything else on property. Pop does have a casual poolside bar. So again, it all depends on what you are into. If the two of you are casual, laid back, and not super picky Pop may work fine. Otherwise, I would probably look outside of the values if your budget allows.

My wife and I have stayed a couple times at POP just the two of us and enjoyed it. Of course it helps we like the theming and the overall energy at POP. We stayed on the lake side of the 70s building and it was pretty quiet but convenient to food court, etc. Having lived through much of the theming at POP it was fun for me to walk through the resort and see everything. If you stay there don't miss the display boxes in the main building lobby with items from the past 50 years.

We stayed at Pop for the first time in late August and really liked it. There were 6 of us, all adults (ages range from 20's to 50's) and we had 3 rooms. With the size of this resort, I really expected it to be more chaotic here but it was surprisingly quiet. The lake and bridge were a nice place to go for a little alone time. We didn't go at peak times, but the food court was never overly crowded. We didn't have a problem with the transportation, the busses came frequently, but we did end up standing most of the time. This was OK because we didn't have children and the bus ride is pretty quick.

DH and I stayed there in January without the kids and we are in our 30's....ssssshhhhhhh!!!

Enjoy whatever you decide to do!!
