Hi,

First time at Pop in May. What is good and what to stay away from? Their mom's nite out specials look good. Anyone try those?

I had the sloppy Joe dinner last May....very good!

My DD11 likes the pizza!!

We didn't eat at POP during our January trip...we were on the Dining Plan & always ate in the parks.

They have a really nice foodcourt. There are different stations for different foods. They also have tv screen menus telling you the price and what it is.

I personally, am obssesed with the Mac and Cheese there. Try something new give it a shot! It's an amazing place!

Have Fun!

Good.
Flatbread sandwiches. We like to try different things. So the chicken curry and the mediterranean chicken were right up our alley.
The Ham and Havarti was pretty plain and was pretty much lunch meat ham on a flatbread. It was good but plain.
Shrimp noodle bowl. Yum Yum.
Mothers day out stuff. Never had any but everyone we observed that did liked em. They all cleaned their plates and it's a lot of food.
Chocolate marshmallow cheesecake. Delicious.
They also had a death by chocolate cake and a carrot cake that were both excellent.

Not so good.
Pizza. Ho hum. Better than Tony's or another cheap supermarket pizza, but it wont wow you.
Tiedye cheesecake. It wasn't bad, but pales in comparison to the other deserts they have.

Pizza = not so hot. I think this is everywhere at Disney
The chicken caesar salad = very very icky! I took it back it was quite nasty. The dressing. Maybe I got a bad batch but seriously, it was yucky.

All we ate at the Pop was breakfast and well it was just breakfast to me. I don't do breakfast at home other than toast. Not really fond of breakfast. We did have pizza there one day for lunch and it was good. DS 5 had some pasta with 1 meal ball that he loved. The cupcakes, cookies and muffins were a hit with my boys also.

Another vote for the shrimp noodle bowl. When we were there they served it a chinese takeout box. Big portion. I split it with my son.

Here is a pic of the Parmesan Chicken with Penne Alfredo....was very good!!!

I really enjoyed the vegetable flatbread. I bought a side of hummus to go with it and the two together were great. Another plus were the brownies. They were very moist and rich. The nicest little thing I think they had was a fruit and cheese tray in the refrigerated section. It included grapes, apples, melon, cheddar and brie cheese and it was only about $6. I found it to be a great late night snack back in the room.

wow, thanks for all the responses! Guess we won't starve.

Ok, no pizza.

chicken penne sounds good. Deserts sound good.

I want to try that shrimp bowl, too.

kittypoohbear, have to try that fruit snack. sounds like a good treat to bring up to room for DD and I to share.

Better than chips, LOL.

Here is another vote for the Shrimp noodle bowl. Very large portion, it fed two of us. The nachos were pretty good too for nachos, I had them for lunch the day we were leaving, and was still stuffed that night on the plane. And for dessert, Twinkie Tiramisu. Yum, I can't remember where my husband found it but it was not with the other desserts in the cooler.

Staying there May 5 and 6, guest we will try the food court for breakfast.

I have also had a meatball hero there pretty good, the shrimp noodle bowl that other posts have talked about also really good and the Mom's night out with fried chicken which was awsome!

annie, what the heck is twinkie tiramisu, LOL.

Just what it sounds like, Tiramisu made with twinkies instead of ladyfingers. It is soooooo good. Trust me. :thumbsup2
