Can anyone recommend a good option for a light lunch or snack here? On our upcoming trip this September, my DH and I will be checking in at Pop around 12:30 or 1 and I know we'll be hungry when we arrive. However, we have a super early dinner ressie that night so I don't want to eat too much. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be a good, yet not too filling lunch or snack?

I love the hummus and bagel chips. It makes a wonderful snack for our family. It is a must have for me.

We had a 5pm ADR for 'Ohana so we didn't want to eat a huge meal when we arrived at 11am so we both got the Greek salad. It was AWESOME. We both liked it alot. That is what I would recommend.

I also nominate the greek salad...very yummy!

My sister loved the Greek salad when we went in february. She had it at least 3 times while we were there and she still talks about it now!

Thanks everyone, for your suggestions! :thumbsup2 I am leaning towards the hummus and bagel chips or the greek salad. Of course, it'll depend on our mood that day, but those both sound like nice, light options.

The fried chicken that someone mentioned sounds like a perfect choice for dinner sometime, I will definitely have to try that. :goodvibes

I'm glad to know that there are lots of good food options at Pop!

I know you are looking for something light but if you decide to have dinner in the food court make sure you try the parmesan crusted chicken. You can get it with alfedo sauce and penne pasta or marinara and salad. The chicken is SOOOO good! We ate the alfredo version a couple of times on our last trip. The Pop food court has lots of good options!:thumbsup2

MamaCoog - I saw the parm crusted chicken on the menu and it sounds really, really good. I think we'll have to get that for dinner one night for sure!

englishrose47 - the cheese and fruit sounds like another really good option for our light lunch on the first day or maybe even a late night snack sometime. :thumbsup2

Thanks for your suggestions!

It is so good!! My husband and I still crave it. The cheese steak wrap was also pretty good. I dont think I had anything bad at the food court. Enjoy your trip! :goodvibes

The crusted chicken comes 2 ways one with pasta alfredo and one with a salad both have a breadstick. Both are delish, but I like the alfredo best!!

Ha ha - and I don't think I had anything good there. The food was edible, but not what I would call "good" by a long stretch.

I would especially avoid the lo mein and anything with a red [tomato] sauce. :scared:

Oh wait, the ice cream sundae was tasty. And the drink I got at the bar was yummy, but quite pricey.

Well... anything that I dont have to cook or clean up afterwards is good to me! :confused3

We had the same situation on our last trip. We needed a small meal just to tide us over until dinner. DSis and I split the parmasean crusted chicken with the salad and the breadstick. It was DELICIOUS! I had tried this on a previous vacation and loved it then, but it didn't disappoint the second time around! I think it's my favorite item on the Pop food court menu.

Sometimes my mom and I would just grab a yogurt and fruit, enough to keep us going but not fill us, we would sometimes sneak in a mickey rice krispy treat too! Tons of options at the food court!
