Pop food court at busy times

Traveling to Pop with my 5 year old son 12/26-1/1. We usually rent DVC points, this will be our first value resort stay. I've been reading about how crowded the food court can get & it makes me nervous for our stay since I know the resort will probably be fully booked.

I'd love to hear from others who've stayed at Pop during busy times...Christmas, Easter...how did you find the food court? Should I be expecting massive lines for food & for tables?

It’s a large food court with multiple food stations. There are a lot of tables plus tables outside. It can be a little crazy in the morning. You can also walk over to AoA and eat at their food court. The mobile ordering is now at the resort quick services so I would take advantage of that.

They just added mobile ordering for Pop. Could be useful. It is very busy there in the morning, as PP said.

We will be at Pop Thanksgiving week and I know I will use the heck out of it!

I think most people eat breakfast at the resort so that’s why it can be crowded. The rooms at Pop have a mini fridge and coffee maker so can get cereal, milk or oatmeal stuff like that and eat in your room. There’s toasters and microwaves in food court. It’s not as crazy later in the day.

Eat at off times to avoid Huge Crowds.

We’ve stayed over Christmas. In can get busy mid to late morning or early evening as people head back to the resort from a day in the parks, but we’ve never found it too busy. Eat at off hours if you can. We’ve never had trouble finding a table, even at peak hours.
