Pop during cheerleader competition

Can anyone give me their experiences at Pop Century during the cheerleader competition in May?

I know the All Stars are overrun with them, but wondering if Pop is just as bad. I know they don't really affect the parks, but I don't sleep well with noise and I will change our dates if they will be a nuisance.

We stayed at Pop 2/2015 and the noise from the cheerleaders was crazy!! They practiced their cheer routines in the courtyard near our room, were constantly running around being very loud, and made it difficult in the food court. We haven't stayed at Pop since then d/t the bad experience. Not sure about May--but could be similar.

It looks like we will be arriving on the last day of the competition, so I'm hoping that they will all be leaving!!

We have stayed there during the competition as well and never had an issue. The only time we ever had an issue at a resort during those competitions was at All-Star Sports and it was just the noise factor, but during the day. Other than that, they've never been an issue to us.
