We haven't been to Disney since 2014 I just booked Pop Century for a quick trip in April for 3 nights. We will be going to Epcot one day and Hollywood Studios one day. I see that the sky liner goes to both of those parks from Pop does it get you to the parks faster than the buses?

I don't think the busses will take you to those parks from POP because they have the skyliner....
Stayed at Pop back in Aug and took the skyliner to Epcot, can't remember HS but probably. I do distinctly remember wanting to bus to one of the parks and being told no bus available to said park, had to take skyliner... that being said, i liked the skyliner ride over to the parks.. keep in mind that the Epcot skyliner drops you off in the back of the park not the front...

SKyliner is the only way to get to DHS and EPCOT from Pop directly. However, AOA has buses that run to those parks (I believe). You can walk over to AOA to take the bus if you would rather. Honestly, I prefer the Skyliner and I was one of those people who swore to never use it when it first launched. Depending on the line, it is faster than the buses. It is also quieter.

If the Skyliner is running, there will not be buses to those parks from POP. However, you can walk to AoA for a bus if that is your preference. I think the Skyliner is faster, but it does require a transfer at CBR.

Because the skyliner is constantly running (except when broke down or when there’s lightning in which case they substitute with buses) I would venture to say it’s faster. The transfer point at CB transfers to another constantly running skyliner so you’re always moving vs. the waiting, loading, unloading of a bus. Also re: Covid you’re in a booth with either your own family, or maybe one other party if your party is small, vs. being on a bus w many more people. It feels more private.

And you always get a seat on the Skyliner, no cramming in like on the buses.

Confirming the above. When the skyliner is running, there are no buses. AOA is walkable from Pop, and they run buses there.

CHECK the dates for the SKYLINER to be DOWN. It's upcoming. And yes, then the buses will be the only choice. It's not stated clearly enough (imo) that IF the Skyliner is at your resort, it will be the only option available for whatever route the Skyliner has for that resort.
