Pop century to Islands of Adventure

Cheapest, fastest and easiest way. We don't have a rental car, but can get one, but it will just sit in the parking lot at Universal. Any ideas. If its a taxi, how much does it cost?

Depending on the number of folks you have, you'll need to do some price comparing on what might be your best bet.

Mears - $15 pp RT. Dial "0" from your room phone the night before you wish to use Mears, tell the Disney operater you want to be connected with Mears. Once you are connected, tell Mears you want to go to Universal/IOA the next morning. Tell them your resort and approximately what time you want to leave. They will give you a pickup time and location. Pay the driver $15 pp CASH ONLY. Once you arrive at Universal, the driver will give you a return trip voucher. Call the number on the voucher about two hours before you wish to return and they will schedule a return time. Return to the same place they dropped you off. You will most likely travel to other resorts before and after you are picked up/dropped off. It is a shared service.

Taxi - No advance planning required. Go to luggage services at Pop when you want to leave, and they will call a taxi for you. Should arrive within 5 minutes. Approximately $30 each way per vehicle. When you leave Uni/IOA, there is a taxi stand with lots of taxis. Probably CASH ONLY, have never used taxi before.

Towncar - Approximately $65 per vehicle RT. Private service, must reserve in advance.

One day car rental from Alamo/National. Can pickup at the Car Care Center or Dolphin. Check rates online. I've seen as little as $25.00 for a compact for 24 hours. $8-10 parking fee at Universal. Must put gas in car before return.
