Ok here is my full Pop century report good and bad !
Left May 3rd... arrived at about 1 :30 pm went to check in very fast no lines I didn't request anything at booking time but when there asked for 50's or 60's 70's she gave me 50's court yard facing the 60's 70's?? (the orange building) right at the center of everything! was like a 3 minute walk to the food court, lobby , bar ect.!!!! Check in CM'S were very nice my son looked tired and was asked how he was doing he said tired and she reached down and pulled out a comic book and gave it to him... perked him up fast!! She gave our key pass to us room was ready! YAY....and a map pointed us where to go and off we went. Got to the room was very clean smelled fresh. Like in another post we had Bianca as our mousekeeper very good very nice and gave us 5 towel animals and a towel fan toothbrush holder, tons of soaps and shampoos which filled my suitcase!! hehe, Toilets are very powerfull! When we flushed we would stand back first cause the water gushes and you get sprayed HAHA. I didn't hear anybody on either side of us and people were in both rooms. Our bathroom light on the 6th day didn't work we called and in 5 mins. a guy was there to fix it.
Pools were very warm, resort was very clean! The store is very big with lots of stuff not bad prices. The food area was clean, fast most of the time even tho we did't eat much there the one thing I didn't like was you didn't really get your money's worth in my opinion. A begal was 2.39 with nothing on it I can get a dozen here for that price hehe a side of potatos at breakfast 1.99 for one scoop they tasted good but not worth 2 bucks a scoop. The frozen pop was yummy my daughter lived off the blue rasberry one and me the coke my hubby lived off the hot chocolate he said it was yummy! Later at night they closed down some of the stations so if you came back hungry you didn't have much choice and they also close one of the drink stations down later which made the other one busy and messy with spills, I bought 4 refill mugs worth the 50 something dollars it cost me for the 4! But I did notice alot of people useing other resort cups and it made me kinda mad because honest people payed for the refill privilage and they were pretty much stealing it!I think they should put in the same machines as the water parks where you scan a code bar to use for your length of stay at the water parks it was fast even with line ups and the hotel wouldn't get ripped off!
Bus service was GREAT!!! we waited no longer then mabey 10 mins. for one at the resort longest wait at a park was 20 but that was at blizzard beach when a storm came and everyone left all at once and ofcourse we left last as I couldn't get my 9 yearold son to stop hitting on the pretty blonde lifeguard!
I do have to give big credits to pop busses at closing from the magic kingdom on late nights we left when the park closed and they had 2 busses side by side loading pop people as our line was the biggest I was very impressed except for the fact that, that night they were draining the sewage system that just happened to be beside our bus stop on the field area and everyone had to plug thier noses peeeee uuuuuuu! OverAll I was abit worried after so many prefer mods and deluxe and this was our first time on property but for the money I surely would recommend Pop Century to my friends as we had a great time there and everyone was sooo nice and always wished us a great stay or a great day!
