For all of you who have stayed at Pop which area in your opinion is the quietest. We're going in a few months and I'd like to call and request a quiet area. Would love your opinions. Thanks and have a "magical" day !

We were there last February and had no noise issues at all. We stayed Pool View non preferred 50's. I can see where the other side (lake view) of the 50's would be quiet too. I loved the 50's theme, so cute!

I was there at end of Feb., start of March 2007. Room was in 70s section, behind area with Big Wheel and facing outward toward Potato Heads. Had no issues at all.

I think as long as your room is not directly over a pool area you'll be fine.

rubics cube was quiete but its the farthets from every thing,,pool view 50s was very noisey,,wouldnt take pool view,,they clean at 6 or 7 am am and drag the pool chairs all over and use gas powered leaf blowers,,but thats at any rersort including allstars,,plus everyone has to see the pool from the top floor and walk and drag luggage past your room to see the pool for the last time at5 am

When we were there 2 years ago the rubiks cube area was noisy, tons of kids running everywhere, the fartherest area to the bus loop and food court. had to drive the car to the front & park for the day & pray that when you returned you could find a parking space in the back. Resort was full then - this time we chose to pay for a preferred room - not taking pot luck again!!:headache:

We were there in late January, and stayed in the 50s section (the building next to Baloo and Mowgli), and our room faced the Hippy Dippy Pool. We didn't have any issues with noise at all. Not crowded at that time of year, I know, but there were still a good amount of people around, and plently of people using the pool.

This past May we stayed in the '50s section, building #1 (Lady building), top floor facing the parking lot.

We loved it as there were absolutely no noise issues whatsoever and we were quite close to Classic Hall. :thumbsup2

4th floor of building 1 facing the pool way down at the far end. We have stayed there 4 or 5 times in that area never heard any noise. BTW those used to be smoking rooms.

We've stayed twice in 70's section, top floor. The first time was by the Big Wheel. Last time we were in the building by the Mickey phone, but all they way on the far end. No noise issues either time.
