We stayed at Pop Century for one night last week. We arrived about 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon -- check in was fairly quick and very smooth. Our room was not ready, and we were given a card with the phone number to call back for our room number later in the afternoon. The cast member was very pleasant and printed out a list of PS numbers for me, as I forgot to pack mine.
We were assigned a room in the 70's building on the second floor. This was close to the food court and pool, and I thought it was a good location considering we did not reserve a preferred room. Our room was small, but very clean and the beds were comfortable. We did not hear lots of noise -- I think I heard a toilet flush twice, and one loud bang outside in the hall about 9:00 p.m., but other than that everything was quiet. We really enjoyed the one meal we ate in the food court, and I was impressed with the quality and variety of the food. I do wish the shower heads had a stronger water flow, but apparently all the Disney resorts are that way - it did not take away from my positive opinion of Pop at all.
We would definitely stay here again on a future visit.
