Pop Century refurbed rooms, Is there a smell from new flooring?

Hi: I just read on the internet that someone stayed at the new refurbed rooms at pop century they mentioned that the floors really had a smell to them. For anyone who has stayed in a renovated pop century room can you tell me the flooring had a smell in the room you were in.

Hi, I was wondering because two years ago we had to cut our trip short due to a perfume smell in our port orleans room, I really don't want her sick her whole trip again because of of a chemical smell which will trigger her migraines.

The first refurbished room I stayed in had a strong paint smell, but the building had just opened and I believe we may have been the first family to stay in it. The other two refurbished rooms I have stayed in did not have any “smells”. All of my stays have been in building seven, and I think that one has been open long enough now that there aren’t any construction smells.

When my DBF and I stayed in late September at POP our room didn't really have a smell per say but, newish without the glue or paint smell. Like its aired out just enough.
