We're due to arrive at Pop Century in 2 weeks time and I want to hire a refridgerator - would anyone know what the cost would be?
Thanx.

It depends on why you want it.

For medicinal purposes there sometimes is not a charge.

I am planning on taking my own milk for breakfasts and some snacks.. I am taking a cooler and doing an ice refill each day. I think $10 is a lot for just a few things. If you have a bunch of stuff plan on doing sandwhiches etc, it may be more worth it.

Enjoy your trip. I am jealous.. I am still over a month away from mine!

I've been checking the Walmart website and they've got small fridges you can buy for $40, they fit about 8 cans in and that's all I need. It's portable so we can either take it home or leave it behind. $10 a day for a fortnight is a bit much I think

We used a cooler this last trip and refilled it with ice once a day.

We made sandwiches and had chips and dip and everything. Worked out wonderful!

I think that's what we'll probably end up doing, buying a cooler at Walmart. I really wanted a fridge but at that price, I don't think so - that works out at $140 for the fortnight plus tax

The ice machines are very easy to get to on each floor. We took a portable fridge with us that we bought from Walmart:

I bought mine at the Walmart store (not the website). We use it for camping, on all of trips when we drive (packing snacks to enjoy along the way), and on Thanksgiving it comes in handy for my overflow of food (I host the dinner for our family). I also use it for my Girl Scout troop when we have outings and I need to bring snacks for them.

Now, if you are flying, this wouldn't work for you. But if you are driving, you might find that it comes in very handy for lots of trips to come!

I think we will purchase a small refridgerator too. For a two week stay it will work out cheaper, and we will be heading to Walmart to stock up on drinks and snacks and breakfast stuff. :D
