Pop Century questions! First time staying at resort.

Heading to Disney World on Jan 23 and will be staying at Pop Century for the first time. Had a couple of questions.

1) I have a dairy allergy so in the last few years we have stayed off property to ensure I have a refrigerator to keep items cold for me to bring to the park or have in the room
(creamer, etc.). I heard that the rooms on property only have beverage coolers now rather than mini fridges. If I request one for dietary reasons before check in, will they be able to provide a mini fridge or am I out of luck?

2) Are you able to use the microwave/toasters in the cafe area to heat up your own food or only food purchased on property?

3) Can anyone share a favorite tip or trick they learned staying at Pop?

I’d highly recommend reading the ‘Pop Century Info’ thread. The posts on page 1 are current.

You are correct that they are beverage coolers but are good at keeping things cool. People use them for medication.

The microwaves are for guests to use with purchased food or their own food. They are accessible from 7AM - 11PM.
