Oh MEMOM so sorry forgot to say that I loved your pics  and it was really great that you took photo's of things we seldom see and need to be reminded of at times

To all the POP Lovers :grouphug:

forgive me if I sound dumb, but I thought Toy Story was Pixar, so maybe that is why Disney couldn't "remember".

:welcome: back! :) Hope you had a magical trip! :wizard:

WOAH! I can't believe Disney would screw up on thier own release dates! Toy Story was released in theaters on November 22, 1995!

We had a great trip! Check out the Magic Camel link in my signature for tons of pictures from it in the days ahead.

That is weird about the date. I guess they were fishing for something Disney to put on the sign, and since it was so late in the year 95, they decided to credit most of its viewing to 96 or something to that effect.

On a related note, we rode the new Toy Story Midway Mania ride, and it was fun. I had more fun taking pictures and my daughter had fun competing with her husband for points. It is a cute ride with great theming, and I'll be showing a lot of pictures of it from entrance to end.

tinkerbell3747 - I know what you mean about dreaming of Pop. This morning, I was 'dreaming' about someone fixing my Pop waffle and cleaning up the mess, but instead, here I was back at home. :sad1:

Maybe released means to VHS in 1996?

Toy Story was released on VHS and LaserDisc on October 15, 1996.

Oh, MeMom, you've made my day! Our flight got delayed so we're just gonna hang out at the Hippy Dippy our last day. I wasn't feeling too great about only having the shower room to change and get ready for our flight. But after looking at your great pics, I think we'll survive! :thumbsup2

PS - and slightly OT, forgive me - but I don't see hair dryers on the shower room walls in your pics. Do you remember seeing them? Don't want to pack mine in my carry-on if I don't have to? TIA

I looked for ya yesterday no hair dryers, but very nice locker room. I see MeMom posted the pics so I will not repeat.

2 more days at WDW and Pop for me.

Some from check-in day, June 28th.

We were fortunate to get one room early, so we put all of our things in that one and headed to Magic Kingdom. I'd love to be sitting out by the kiddie pool watching my baby (granddaughter) splash around right now!

Hey MeMom! Loved your pictures (and sweet little granddaughter) - so sweet:cutie:

Where did you find the hidden Mickey in the floor at Pop? I'm going to check it out.

I would love to know where that hidden mickey is as well. Also, are there any others hidden around the POP resort? Please post pictures and/or locations if you will!

THANKS!

The Hidden Mickey is in the food court floor over toward the pizza counter kind of out in the middle. There may be more, but that's just the one we saw. Jill actually pointed it out to me and I took the picture.

I can't wait to get to Pop next month and actually get to see the resort! We stayed here 2 years ago and really only saw our building (70's by the Goofy jets) and Century Hall...I had no idea that it offered so much! We never took the time to take it all in! Thanks for all of the pictures!
