I've stayed at all three All Stars and at Pop three times now. I prefer Pop for three reasons: I like the lake and have enjoyed taking walks along the pathway beside it. It's usually quite peaceful and relaxing, while at the All Stars it seemed like there was nowhere to walk that wasn't either a pathway to a building (and therefore always crowded) or a parking lot.
I also felt the food court food selection was better at Pop. And I liked that the buses go only to Pop; it was sometimes exasperating to have one bus going to all three All Stars - just a longer wait to get back to your room at the end of a tiring day.
We did have one negative experience during our trip in February. I was traveling with a friend, and her daughter got a nosebleed during the night while she was sleeping. By the time she woke up and realized what was happening, there was blood all over the sheets. We left the bed with the cover pulled back, and when we got back (very late) that evening, the beds had been made up. When my friend pulled back the cover, though, the bloody sheets were still on the bed! Who makes a bed using blood-stained sheets (and I'm not talking tiny stains, this was a lot of blood)?
We called down to the front desk and we were told that the housekeeping staff was all gone and there was nothing they could do. Only after several minutes of arguing did someone agree to bring some clean sheets up to the room - but, she insisted, she would not make up the bed because that was not her job and we would have to make the bed up ourselves. So there we were, sometime after midnight, stripping off the blood-stained sheets and making up the bed.
I think what was most disappointing to us was the attitude. No apology, just kind of a "too bad, not my problem" attitude.
Anyway, I'm sure that won't happen to you!
