Pop Century Mugs

Can you still buy the original tie-dyed looking refillable mugs at Pop Century or do they only have the "Year of a Million Dreams" mugs? I'd really prefer to be able to get the original kind because it's more resort specific. The YOMD mugs look a bit "blah" to me. Anyway, I'm just trying to figure out if I need to budget for 4 mugs if they have the tie-dyed ones or if I can plan on saving that money because I don't want the YOMD kind.

we were at disney in 2006 and bought 2 mugs we were told we could use them on follow up holidays.. is this still allowed?

disney did away with that policy long ago.

so expect to be glared at.... by the CM and other guest - will disney stop you.

We got back last night, and the only resort we went to that still had resort mugs instead of YOAMD mugs was the Contemporary. (We stayed at SSR and also visited Pop, Y&BC, BW, Poly, and GF.)

This is just a guess but I think the reason the Contemporary was still selling their Resort logo mug is because the Food & Fun Center is closing on July 30th, so they see no reason to sell the YOAMD mugs over there.

(To be honest I always wondered why the heck you couldn't do that anyway-your resort mug should be good for any resort-BUT ONLY FOR THAT VISIT, before you start flaming me!)

There is a new policy.
The mug can be refilled at any of the resort's refill stations but For THAT Visit only.

Great news for guests who have split stays!

Thats great to know. We bought mugs last year but realise they were only good for that stay.

We are staying at ASMOs and Pop this Sept so we won't have to buy the same mugs twice. If they were different designs i probably would have bought them for keepsakes.
