I currently have reservations for Dec at the Pop Century. I am also taking 2 18 year old teenagers. When I see pictures of Pop I see a lot of young children - will i be sorry I did not book at another hotel??

I have seen lots of teens at POP when I have stayed there, especially around the pool area.

Thanks for the response - I was starting to worry they might go to the pool and feel like it is just for young kids.

Pop Century is great for teenagers!!!! There are so many icons to look at and I'll bet they start saying "what is that?" or "I had one of those" or "Mom/Dad - YOU have one of those!" or (worse) - "GRANDMA had one of those!!!!" If not the icons, than the shadowboxes in the lobby. Take a walk along the lake and see the signs for every year and something significant that happened that year.

Great family conversation starters.

We were there two weeks ago with my DS and his girlfriend. They are both 20 and they thought Pop was very cute.

DD15 and her BFF15 LOVED Pop last year! Even though I felt like a dinosaur when I had to explain 8-track tapes to them, I got lots of chuckles from watching their expressions especially when DD told her BFF that I still had a working 8-track player. They loved the icons, DD wouldn't leave until we had pictures of the Big Wheel and the Play-Doh can. Don't worry, they'll love it!

I have to disagree, we did feel values geared towards young children. (Although there were older children there also). We brought my teenage niece and nephew to the other values and they didn't like that much as they had the moderates, (we never did POP). The moderates we feel are better for teenagers particularly CSR (which they liked best) with the pool, but they liked all three. If you can grab a code and it isn't that much more I personally would upgrade to a moderate. We also do spend time at the resorts so that made a difference for us. That doesn't mean yours won't like though. There were a lot of very small children there and in the game room, etc., felt very much like Chuck-E-Cheese. Very nice for the price though! but it was geared for young children in our opinion, but its just our opinion. Again we do spend a lot of time in the resorts themselves. I would base it on how much time you were spending there and if you can grab a code for mod. I mean who hates anything Disney, certainly not me, so I'm sure it will be fine, the price of those values you can't beat them but we would definitely try to upgrade. My DH and myself don't care too much for them either in that we didn't get "down time" there. (Someone got mad at me for that one in another post) So it is subjective opinions. We just happen to be big moderate fans.

I brought my "little" sister to All-Star Music when she was 20, and she LOVED it! But, Pop is the best value resort IMO. :thumbsup2
