Daughter is allergic to peanut , milk and seafood .. I have heard that pop is really great handling things but that was before the menu change .. Anyone have recent experiences .. We plan on most breakfast and a lunch and a dinner there

I see that you have posted lots of questions about specific places and their handling of allergies.

Rest assured, Disney has very specific protocols that they follow when dealing with allergy orders, no matter where in Disney the restaurant is. If something on a menu cannot be made safe for your daughter, the chefs will make her something not on the menu.

I have 10+ foods that I cannot eat due to severe gastrointestinal symptoms (pain, nausea, vomiting). None of my reactions is anaphylactic, though. On our recent nine day trip, I did not get sick once.

I know how scary eating out can be. I can't imagine how much scarier it is when anaphylaxis is a possible reaction. However, your daughter will be very well taken care of!

At the food court, just like at a QS restaurant, you will ask to speak to the chef. The chef will take down your info and they will have it for the remainder of your visit. We lucked out that every time we ate at the food court at AoA, the same chef was working. Your daughter's order will be taken by the chef or a manager and her order will be brought out by the chef or manager.

Have a great trip!

We stayed at Pop and the chefs were Great. They even made things not on the menu for my son. I could not have had a better experience. They wanted to make sure my son had the best trip ever. Enjoy your trip.

My experience with POP is from a year ago before the menu change but they were wonderful.

I have about 16 allergies, 4 of which are known anaphylaxis (peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, shellfish) and I did not get sick once while at POP.

You can go to any station at the food court and tell them you have allergies and they will get a chef for you who will discuss the allergies and tell you what is already safe or what they can make to be safe. By about day 3 of our 7 day vacation the 3 chefs we usually dealt with knew me and knew that in the morning I wanted waffles with potatoes and in the afternoon I wanted allergy chicken tenders with sauted vegetables.

Same at the Contemporary. They knew me at the QS and never had a problem.
