The farthest away 80's building was a pain to be in, so much so we changed rooms. Moved to the 70's with a lake view and it was much better.
I am not sure why you think the 80's will be less noise than, say the 70's? The building doesn't matter, the floor does. 4th floor is much quieter than lower floors because no one is above you.
Request "lake view" 4th floor for the quietest locations.
As for being far away, like I said, it was a big enough pain to make me ask for another room. It is way more than 150 extra feet... more like 150 yards, maybe more. From the farthest 70's to the bus was about a 11-12 minute walk (so if you forget something and realize it at the bus stop, that is a 25 minute mistake. Which we did, which is why I know how long the walk took).
60's, 4th floor overlooking the Hippy Dippy

was the best location we have had at the Pop. It was really nice to be able to run and fill the refillable mugs whenever we wanted, took about 10 minutes, tops, round trip. We did not hear any pool noise with our door shut, and there was no one above us so no flushing noises either

(we got a free upgrade too).
