Ok, I know I ask a lot of questions about the king bed rooms in the value resorts, just bare with me. :)

In POP, does each decade have rooms with king beds? Or are there only king beds in certain sections?

I guess if you don't know the real answer, lol, but you know where a king bed room is, you can just tell me that (like you stayed in one in this decade or something or you saw one when you walked by, lol).

I stayed in the 50s section last year and had a KB. Just stayed in the 90s section last month and had a KB. I would have to guess there are a certain number of KB in each section. There was an earlier thread that had more info on this. Keep in mind that alot of the KB rooms at Pop (and the other value resorts) are HA and the bathrooms are designed for assistance. Some have roll-in showers and others with tubs w/bars.

BeckWhy ~ Yes, each decade has rooms with king beds. As a matter of fact, each building has rooms with king beds. Check this out Pop Century Room Layout

I had a king size bed in Pop, near the playdough, (is that 60's or 70's?) (Sorry I was only there one night!)

Room 5051 was ours for the first full week that the resort was open! :earsboy: Maggie

I didnt even know they had king beds other than in the accessible rooms! I think Im calling CRO today and see if I can get DH and I a king size bed. :cool1:

Hmmm

I understand that king bed rooms may or may not be handicap accessable. That fact doesn't bother me, of course except from taking the room from someone who is handicapped!

According to Pop Century Room Layout The standard (NOT disability accessable) rooms with king beds are:

50's Jukebox - 2103, 2122, 2203, 2222, 2303, 2322
60's Play-Doh - 4103, 4122, 4203, 4222, 4303, 4322
70's Mickey Phone - 6103, 6122, 6203, 6222, 6303, 6322
80's Walkman - 9103, 9122, 9203, 9222, 9303, 9322
90's Computer - 8103, 8122, 8203, 8222, 8303, 8322

The room numbers follow the pattern of building #, floor #, then individual room. For example, 2103 is in building 2 (Jukebox) on the 1st floor.

There are two standard king rooms on each floor, except for the fourth floor, which doesn't have any.

From what I've heard, disability accessable rooms have roll-in showers that don't have shower curtains. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm mistaken.

In July we stayed at POP in room 5467. It had a king bed and it had a normal bath tub. We had booked a preferred room and then requested non-smoking, King Bed and 4th floor. The room was great. It was quiet because we were on the top floor and it over looked the Hoop De Do Pool.

Well, there goes that theory. :confused3
