I have heard many reviews on the 50's and 60's buildings but what about the others? How is the walk to the food court? Any short cuts to get to the buses with a 3 and 4 yr old (probably will have a stroller)? Best views in those buildings? Thanks in advance?

Hi,

I just returned from the POP and stayed in 2 rooms in the 90's section. These were first floor facing a garden/parking lot. (Rooms 8154 and 8155)
We found these to be very convenient for getting to the buses and food courts by cutting through the parking lot.

I think it was less than a 5 minute walk. I also liked being just around the corner from the Computer Pool but not being able to hear all the noise at night. I found this section to be extremely quiet at night and cannot even recall hearing the people in the rooms next to ours.

Hi Anne Marie,

Try this link for a Pop map: http://www.allearsnet.com/acc/popmap3.jpg

We've stayed twice in the 70's - very convenient to parking, bus stops, and food court (some of the 70's rooms are preferred). 80's and 90's are farther from the food court, but still not too far from the bus stops, and there is a separate pool over there. It may be difficult to tell on the small map, but the bus stops are outside the Classic Hall. :wizard:

We were in the 70s, building 10 & it was SUPER convenient to the food court & buses, and the Hippy Dippy Pool. Very quick walk. We were with a 3 & 4 year old as well, and had the stroller for the 3 year old when we went to the bus, but not if we just went to eat, and she did great. Our rooms were "preferred" (at least according to our reservations) and I thought the location was great. View ... wasn't great, but honestly? I never even looked outside. We got up, got everyone ready & gave the kids a snack in the room, then walked down & grabbed a little more breakfast in the food court & left. Returned & basically went to bed, so it never even occurred to me to care what was outside of our room, except that it wasn't loud, which was nice. I could see the 60s being louder because of the pool.
