Poor PS palnning

We are going the first week of Nov and I made PS's in the summer before the park hours were out.The night of our luau is MK fireworks. The luaua is now completely booked that week. Then on Thursday I made a PS at 730 for 1900 park Fare. Of course Wishes is at 8 that night. Again that week is booked for that dinner.I tried for a PS to LTT in MK but no openings. Im bummed becuse I want to see the fireworks but don't want to miss the PS's. Anyone ever have luck at a character dinner w/out PS? I think we're not going to see MK fireworks.

Keep on trying for the PS's you want to change. There are always cancelations and ussually no-shows.

Keep calling for a luau cancellation, and find out when the first seating is for the 1900 Park Fair Dinner. Show up at opening and I doubt they will have a problem seating you for Dinner.

Alot can change from now to November, including park hours, so don't fret. We have often even changed our PS times the day before while in the park. I personnally believe that they set aside times for last minute changes. We couldn't get any late PS on my last couple of trips when I called 60 days out, but once we got there and called from our room, we had no problems getting any time we wanted. I thought that was a little strange. However, character meals are always tough.

Keep trying especially the week before you leave. I've had luck in the past changing ps times or places and it always seems the week before we leave things open up a bit more as other people are changing their ps times too!!

I love the title of your post. It's so honest. I was in your position this past August and didn't worry too much because I was certain that I could get a walk-in or same day PS without a problem as I had done on many visits before. No such luck. I would definitely keep calling as they really do get cancellations all the time. I would normally say, "wing it" but now I think all of the PS you can do before leaving is a plus(even if you have to change some). It may make you feel better to know that my family of 4 has done CRT breakfast 4 times on a walk-in basis in high season. Good luck. I'm sure your trip will be spectacular.

that several tables are held and open up at the 48 hour. We made a last minute trip a couple of years ago and we called when we got down there and had no problems getting ps and this was smack dab in the middle of spring break. We even got one on the same day.
