Poor Experience with Agent...now what

I met with a DVC agent last week while I was at WDW...let's just say this man should not be selling for Disney but for a used car lot. I had done my research thanks to DISboards and a few FB groups, had my questions ready, and was pretty much ready to pull the trigger at the moment. What I really wanted was HARD numbers and I told him exactly what I wanted...instead he quotes me things that I did not want. When I pressed him on what I wanted, I kept getting the run around. I realize I am not the starry eyed buyer he was looking for. I was already sold on DVC, rented several times so I know that the resort rooms look like nor do I want a huge contract. The man now keeps calling me...but my mood has soured on the whole thing over how he treated me. Is there anyway to talk to another agent...

Buy resale. You will be thousands of dollars ahead.

Call the main sales number. Ask for a manager and request to have a new guide assigned to you.

I you are wanting any resort other than Aulani or PVB, they do not want to sell to you. Other resorts can be purchased direct but much less expensive resale so why bother!

What info were you looking for? As noted, you can ask to change guides and should even if you buy resale. If you decide on resale, wait until after you're closed to do so.

Do you mean he quoted prices for the other resorts? I would guess Aulani and Poly?

You can really insist on buying the other resorts, but gosh, there's just so little point to it. As Bill said, resale is going to be much cheaper.

They will come up with points for other resorts, but you will have to wait a little while.

If you want something other than Poly or AUL, you're better off getting a master contract resale, then calling to look for a 25-point contract direct.

When they know you want a master contract, they will push Poly or AUL.
