last week I planned to take a day off and go to DL/DCA since I have 6 weeks sick leave and 4 weeks vacation. I had no idea of the World Series activities planned until I was watching the news while getting ready to go. I deciede to brave the crowds and go anyway. I'm glad I did. I went to DCA 1st to play millionaire only to find out there were having a special baseball edition games, great I NEVER watch baseball. I decided to skip it and watch soaring. Only a 5 min. line. Some baseball fans were trying to start up a converstion with me about the games, I told them I was not a baseball fan (go DUCKS) but that I was glad that they had won. It started getting crowded so I left for DL.
Main street was empty, empty,empty. I got out my phone to call 911 because I thought somoene had stolen the castle, then I remembered the castle is at Magic Kingdom in FL.
There were no lines at all, I went on every ride except Autopia,Star tours and Tiki Room. I wen ton some several times like Indiana Jones and HH. I did all this in 5 hours plus stopped for a little shopping of Angel presents for some baseball crazed friends and some HH stuff for a some other people and a bowl of soup.
All in All it was a great day.
