All the deluxe resorts that I've stayed in have poolside activities. Our family really enjoys them, especially the bingo. It's never bothered us, but all the deluxe resorts have quiet pools, so you could go there if you wanted.
Most if not all have them..They are pretty loud, but we love them .If quiet swimming and relaxing is your thing, then the quiet pools would be better.Even when the poolside stuff isn't going on, the main pools can be pretty hectic and loud
Depending how we feel and the time of the day we always use both pools. The poolside activities are one of my kids favorite things, they really look forward to it. They are loud (do to music and such) but not obnoxious! The quite pools are a great option though
