Pools

Sometimes the pools are warmer than the air. At least at WL. We were there two years ago and the kids wanted to swim when we got back from the parks, I believe the evening temps were low 50s (mom did not swim) There was steam coming off the pool.

Have fun!

Yep, all heated... nice and toasty. Usually, the weather is warm enough that people are laying out getting a tan by the pool during the days too.

We've gone in January several times, it is hit or miss. Some nights it is just too chilly. Usually the day is fine! It really will depend on what your ideal water/air temp. comfort level is....
My kids will tolerate any temp. to swim in Jan.! :)

We were there this past January, 10 days before MLK weekend and when we arrived the temp was in the 60's. We stayed at WL and going past the pool area put our foot in, water was like bath water, heated extremely well. The next day the temps soared but in the am, steam coming off the pool water with the cooler morning temps. Great to jump and and cool off but it's the getting out that's tough. Also walking back to your room in a wet bething suit is not to my liking, suit feels like its been in a freezer. Very doable no matter what the temps are, Disney pool at WL was heated quite well for our January stay.

I stayed at AKL in January of 07 for 3 nights and I was suprised at how cold they kept the pool. The 3 nights prior I spent at the Hilton in WDW on some points I had. No comparison on the resorts but the pool at AKL was noticeable colder. My 3 year old would not go in.
