We are considering a quick 5day/4night stay to the dolphin in late Feb/early March. I would love to hear from people that have gone at this time in the past to see how the weather is for being able to swim in the pools?? Thanks in advance:)

Heven't been in late Feb/ early March but have been in early Feb a couple of times and we have swam in the pools during this time. All the pools are heated plus whenever we went there were at least 2 or 3 days where it was warm enough to swim. We have even done the waterparks during this time frame

Can be pot luck, for the most part jacket weather nights, mornings but good recovery. If their pools are heated, should get some time in.

Feb is a mnth you have to pack for chilly to warm. Bad days don't last more then one or two.

Thanks for the info:) Does the Dolphin heat their pools also?? And what about the water parks?? Are the water areas heated there??

I know WDW resorts and water parks are. I can not say for off site or on site hotels.

I've been that time of year many times and the pools were always in use. Even though it may only be in the 70's - to those of us from the cold climates, its a heatwave!!! I remember being in the pool, perfectly content and the lifeguard was wearing pants and a jacket!

Hi Indymom!!! I'm here in Fishers. Nice to see another Indy dis'er!! We have been at WDW the first week of March and we had wonderful weather. We usually spend as much time as possible at the parks but the last two days we did nothing but hang out at the ASMo pool - the weather was so nice that we felt like we couldn't justify NOT having some pools days. The water was quite warm. The very end of February, beginning of March is a great time. I think you miss the cheerleaders but you will also be gone before the Spring Break crowds start to move in. I do remember though that it did get VERY chilly at night and there were one or two days where we had some wind. So we usually dressed in layers so we could adjust our clothing accordingly.
