Pools Questions!

What are the like right now? Are they swimable? We are going next week and typically spend endless hours at the pool. The weather looks pretty warm next week but curious what the temps of the pool water is like with the cold nights.

I know they are supposedly heated... but it seems that they are not heated much based on the colder times of year we have been!

depends how tough you are lol
my kids will swim in pretty much anything while i like it much warmer
so this time of yr for me is out, but my kids think nothing of it and will stay in for as long as i let them

Well your not mentioning where your from: Our experience is: from Northern Illinois. We only found people in the pool from up north. Yes, it is ok during the day and sunlight hours. At night its cool to cold especially getting out or sitting out of the water. Also: depends on the pool location. The pools enclosed by nearby buildings or structures are warmer. Any pool with a lake nearby is cooler.

We got home from our last trip a week ago today. My daughter and I both got into the quiet pool at Old Key West and found it quite comfortable. She also stayed in the Stormalong Bay pool for several hours later in the trip. The air temps were around 80 each day, and the water temps felt about the same. We live in the South, so it has to be pretty warm before we get in. Of course, within a week it could be 50 and blustery there, so good luck!

You are asking a very subjective question.

Where are you from; if you are from a warmer weather climate, you might not be able to tolerate the walk to and from the pool.

If you are from a cooler climate, you might be able to tolerate it.

What will the weather be the week you are there; there is no way of knowing until about two days before you leave.

Can you tolerate colder weather more than people who live in your area; I work outside, so I tolerate it much better than most.

Only you can decide whether you can tolerate the weather and swimming; depending on what the weather is for the week.
