Pools open in October?

Are the pools still open in October and if so are they warm enough to swim in?

October is still pretty warm in Orlando, for the most part. Pools will be open.

We were there last October 16-26 and it was warm enough to swim. Plus I think most have pools open and heated during winter months

Pools are open year-round and, at most hotels and resorts, the water will be warm enough to use. It's general a matter of air temperature that will dictate whether you'd want to use a pool. We used the pools at our resort during the first week of December last year so you could certainly use a pool in most Octobers.
