Pools close too early

I'm not sure I would want to swim after 8pm in January! You're braver than me

The temps were pushing near 90 for a while at this time. It did cool off a little, but still.

I could live without the pool after 8pm. but I hate not having access to the hot tub.

My visit in 2015 was split POR and AKL Jambo. I found that I could swim later at POR because of the quiet pools than I could in a deluxe resort without the extra pools - frustrating. This was Jan/Feb too so while not warm every day if you're from somewhere that is usually cooler it was plenty warm enough to swim with the high temps Disney heats their pools to. I have family members that are pale and allergic to sunscreen so evening swimming is a habit that I was disappointed to miss out on.

As for the fences, where I live it is the law and there are pretty specific rules around the construction of the fences (eg nothing too close to the gate that allows small children to climb and open it). I'm fine with Disney doing the fences for safety but it shouldn't mean closing pools early. They would be better to improve education on water safety.

I agree! it's all about the money. Now when companies want to increase profits the first, and sometimes the only, thing they look at is eliminating salaries and benefits. It's bull---- but an unfortunate cold hard fact. Disney has become experts at it. The problem is no matter how much they take away from their customers they all keep coming back for more. (PLEASE DISREGARD MY TICKER HAVE NOT HAD THE TIME TO CHANGE IT, WON'T BE GOING BACK TO DISNEY ANYMORE)Disney just does not care about their customers experience like they used to. Total shame.

It's dark at 10:30pm in August when the pools are open late. I doubt that Disney is thinking about the animals.

That's why I like the hot tub at POFQ. It's separate from the main pool area. Fewer kids.

But the big drawback there is that their ONLY pool is geared towards little kids... Huge difference between their's & POR's Or even CSR for that matter.

I actually love the pool at POFQ because I never find it very crowded.

Now the hot tub at CSR last summer was one huge poop fest. The worst problem was that it wasn't very hot. That was an invitation for toddlers and babies and lots of kids to splash and play. It was packed full of kids all the time.

Yup. The hot tub at CBR was the same. Even with the warning signs, parents were letting little ones alone in the hot tub. Needs to be adults only.

No bad experience just think a person should get what they pay for. You are just foolish enough to believe you should keep spending more and more money to get less. Please do not respond with more insults I am just stating cold hard facts about Disney's lack of respect for it's customers.

what happened to make you give up the mouse?

They just keep charging more for less. I understand operating costs continue to go up in any business and almost every business tries very hard to keep the experience their consumers get the same as prices go up. But, Disney wants both sides of it's bread buttered. Charge more to make more money and dilute the experience by cutting staff and other things to make more money. I don't mind paying more for something (that's the way of the world) but for God's sake at least give me the same experience I have come to enjoy.
