We are looking at a split stay for our frist trip home - the majority of our trip will be at AKV (already booked), but there weren't enough nights available in a 1 BR SV there for our dates this October and want to add on a couple of extra days and try a different resort. We know that availability is tight due to F&W, etc, but we have to wait just about 4 more days for our 7 month window due to the Developer Points rules.
We talked about it at dinner last night to get a family consensus of where we should try for, but now I'm looking to you, the DVC experts for opinions. My wife and I have our own desires about the resorts to try for, but our kids have piped in asking to stay somewhere with a cool slide. We know that we can pool hop to sample them (except to SAB) but honestly that'll be on our agenda next time, right now it's just about staying somewhere new.
SO, if you were to make a recommendation based on pool complexes - which pool/slide do you (or your kids) prefer - and why? We know and have seen the cool one BWV a cool one (though not even on our list due to F&W), and we've seen SSR's - but none of the rest. We talked about maybe going off-site to VB, but my wife nixed that for our first trip.
Thanks!
