Planning our first trip for June and we will be staying at Sapphire Falls. I can't decide between pool view and lagoon view--any advice to help me decide? Pros/cons of either. Thanks!!

I`d opt for a lagoon view. It is such a pretty view and would be our preference.

Guest Houses 2 and 3 offer lagoon views.

We opted for pool view, I like the idea of being able to see if the pool is open.

Did you get a lot of noise in your room from the pool? We had an AWFUL experience at Hard Rock with that, but my husband loves pool view rooms & our next trip we'll probably be staying at Sapphire (had a beautiful peaceful lagoon view last time), so...just wondering about the noise factor at SF - TIA for any info :)!

I will report back when we find out. Trip is in less than a month (:

We had a lagoon view a couple of weeks ago. So beautiful.

I booked a lagoon room. Pool views do get noise from kids pool parties during the afternoon.

We have had pool views at HR several times because I love seeing the parks from my room. We could see Rip Rocket and a bit of the castle lights at night. During the afternoon you could hear the kid pool parties but didn’t bother me. For afternoon break I was usually at the oool!

LOL, it was WAY too loud for us in the HRH pool view - & it was ALL DAY until the pool closed at 10:00 p.m. :( - just no reprieve from the constant noise - we even had to turn up the volume on the TV to even be able to hear shows because of it.

We were just shocked because we had stayed several times poolside at Cabana Bay in the Exterior Entry Family Suites where we were literally mere steps from the pool & once we shut the door to our room, we heard nada (or VERY little.). It was really surprising - and disappointing - to us that a Premier resort had such horrible soundproofing compared to a non-Premier.

We know to stick with Garden View at HRH - if we ever go back there - & we'll stick with Lagoon View at Sapphire to be on the safe side, too - we LOVED our LV at SF in August 2020 :)!

That’s so strange because we couldn’t hear pool noise at night. Maybe it depends on where your room is. We ask for rooms that are kind of above hotel pool entrance rather than the side where pool bar and The Kitchen is. I think those rooms are very close to the pool and get more noise.
Our last stay I split SF for a couple of nights then HRH. I had a nice garden view at SF. I was so busy I was never there those 2 days. Didn’t even get to use the pool. So I’m looking forward to a longer stay at SF in Aug. unless prices drop for one of the 3 deluxe lol. Then I may switch! Or split!
