Pool use on checkout day, is that okay?

My parents will be checking in at BWV for a night while we are there and I was wondering if they can hang at the pool with us the day they checkout. Do resort privies expire at 11:00, or are we okay for the rest of the day??

You are entitled to resort priviledges until midnight of checkout day.

We typically get a late flight out on checkout day, just to hang around the pool, and squeeze in a few extra hours of vacation.

We have asked if its OK at the front desk, and the answer is a resounding YES !.

I believe that is why they built locker/changing rooms at many of the DVC resorts, so you could easily change for swimming the day of arrival and day of departure without your room being available.

You can absolutely use all the resort facilities for the entire day. You can even use the health club locker rooms and showers for free. We have used the pools post check out at VWL and BCV. Both times we showered and changed at the health clubs.
