After experiencing the parks with masks, and with no APs, we have scrapped the parks for our summer trip and this will be a short resort stay after visiting Florida family. I'm booked for a quick June split stay between Beach Club and Poly with a young kid who does not nap. Our pool day will be the between day when we check out of BC and into Poly. I was hoping to try to get another night Beach Club, but I think doing both pools might actually be ideal. Hard to beat that Poly theming!

Normally we can make it on backpacks, but we will have an Owner's Locker. So, the plan: Put the Owner's Locker and one bag at BC Bell Services, go to BC pool. Put swim in a wet bag, change into clothes. Take Uber to Poly with luggage. Check the bags at Poly and go to the pool until the room is ready.

I've never actually been to the Poly pool, even though I've owned at Poly for years, and I'm worried about dining. Where do we eat?

Sounds like a fun plan.

Kona Cafe is open at Poly if you want table service or Captain Cook's if you want counter service. Tambu Lounge has a limited selection of appetizers.. You can walk over to GF and dine at Gasparilla Grill for QS or dine at Narcoose's or GF Cafe for TS.

Hmm, sounds like dining is much better at Poly/GF, so maybe I need the split stay. I think that sounds like a plan!

Both of the Poly pools are really great. Of course the lava pool has the splash pad and water slide, but the zero entry Oasis pool with the little bubbling water features kept my kids entertained for hours as well.

As for dining...Capt Cooks is delicious. The Oasis pool grill was also really great when we were there last year. Hopping on the monorail to hit up something at GF or Contemporary (The Wave!) is always an option too.

Have fun!! I miss our Poly home so much.

Huh, the Wave is an interesting idea. Something I wouldn't have even considered with park days. It was available, so I booked it. Sounds like fun!

I probably would have Disney move the Owner's Locker from BC to Poly for me.

We had breakfast at The Wave a week ago. It was one of the best meal that we had during our short trip. I highly recommend it.
