Pool Towels Provided at CBR?

Hi everyone,

We will be checking in on Monday (can't wait ). I have not stayed at at Disney Resort in a few years since becoming DVC members. I can't remember if the last time we stayed at POR towels were provided by the pool.

Also, I know there are refrigerators in the rooms at CBR. Iron/ironing board? Coffeemaker? Sorry - I know I have seen a site. I am going to do some research.

Would love to know about the towels though. Thanks.

Yes, they have towels at the pool (all the resorts have them). You will have a coffee pot, iron/ironing board, and hair dryer in your room. Have a wonderful trip! I wish I was going too, I have to wait until October

I have read that they don't have towels at the main pool. I've never seen them there. I know that they don't have them at the quiet pools. Feel free to bring the towels from your room. You can call housekeeping when you get back to the room and they will replace them for you.

A refrigerator, iron, ironing board, safe, hairdryer and coffeemaker are all standard in the CBR rooms. Mousekeeping will also replinish your coffee, soaps and shampoos daily.

I posted a very detailed description of the CBR yesterday. I haven't looked at it today or I would give you the thread link. It's title was something like Questions on How to Mazimize My Stay at the CBR. I posted tons of info.

AnnaS, the main pool has towels. For the quiet pools you would need to bring yours from the room and then just ask housekeeping for more.

Thanks everyone. I really can't wait now. The pictures and resort are absolutely beautiful.

I noticed the refrigerator does not have the small portion for ice or space to freeze two bottles of water.

I hope we are not too far from the ice machines. I just want to take a few extra cold water bottles for the days I am sitting and melting waiting for my dd to participate at her events at the Wide World Sports Complex.

I think you will really enjoy CBR. Sometimes it gets a bad rap for being spread out, but here's my take on that. As large as the resort is, as spread out as it is, Disney has placed amenities like quiet pools throughout the resort, ice machines and vending machines, laundry facilities, beaches, etc, throughout the resort -- so NO rooms are very far from any of these! It's the coolest thing. And here's something else we've noticed that's even better -- if you want to be around lots of people, and you don't get enough of that in the parks, I suppose the main pool can get crowded -- but for us, we like a little respite from the crowds. We would walk to our quiet pool -- no one there but us. We would walk out our door to the courtyard and sit at the tables and relax -- no one there but us. We would walk to the beach and lie in a hammock -- no one there but us. To find peace and quiet amidst so many people -- it is wonderful!!

CBR is our vacation retreat within our Disney vacation!

You'll like CBR! Even my kids love it. They are already kind of bummed that next year we may have to stay at a different resort due to (possibly) having 5 people. The resort is not so spread out that you won't enjoy it. Have Fun!
